Online Wallet
Please follow the steps below to access your online Wallet with a 12-word recovery phrase for your online Wallet integrated into the Kinesis platform. Please be sure to keep your 12-word recovery phrase safe.
Step 1: After opening the Wallet tab, choose the option ACTIVATE NOW followed by ACTIVATE EXISTING WALLET.
Step 1: You will then be prompted to enter your seed phrase.
Please note: If you have previously activated a wallet with a different seed phrase, this will not work. In that case, please contact support@kinesis.money.
Standalone Wallet
It is also possible to recover the seed phrase to the standalone wallet, in a similar process to that described above.
Step 1: After opening the Wallet tab, choose the option ACTIVATE NOW followed by ACTIVATE EXISTING WALLET.
Step 1: You will then be prompted to enter your seed phrase.
CoolWallet S & Pro hardware wallets
For the CoolWallet S and Pro, if you have a non-numeric seed phrase, you'll need to convert it to numeric.

What if I forgot my 12-word recovery phrase?
Your 12-word recovery phrase associated with your wallet is not stored by Kinesis. As such, it is entirely your responsibility to ensure that you have recorded this.
We highly recommend storing this physically by writing it down and not storing on the same device that you access your wallet with. Consider making multiple, durable copies of your 12-word recovery phrase.
If you have lost your password to the standalone wallet, then you will need to use your 12-word recovery phrase to restore access to the wallet.
If you lose your 12-word recovery phrase, you will lose all access to funds stored in your wallet.
