Multi-account - Explained

  • Updated

What is the Multi-account feature?

Multi-account lets you run several separate Kinesis profiles managed from one primary Individual account, using a single login. There's no limit on the number of Business profiles you can open, and switching between them takes a click.

Whether you're a sole trader, a large corporation, or a fund manager, the feature brings the Kinesis Monetary System into reach while giving you tighter control over your portfolio.

Follow our dedicated Multi-account guide to open your business account in minutes.

How many accounts can I open?

You can create as many separate, KYC-verified Business accounts as you need, each with its own HIN number. You can add them through the Add Account widget in your primary, Individual account's profile settings, or register through the Kinesis sign-up page.

You can hold no more than three unverified Business accounts at any one time, and only ever one Individual account.

Switching between accounts:

The Switch Account feature, found under your profile icon in the top-right corner of the Kinesis Home dashboard, lets you move between your accounts, or manage and delete them, all from your primary profile.

Are additional accounts free?

None. Registering and managing Business accounts is free no matter how many you hold - and under the Kinesis revenue model, simply using them can earn you yields in gold and silver.

Do all my accounts need verifying?

No. As long as your primary Individual account is KYC-verified, you can open Business accounts without verifying each one first. However, verification gives you access to the full Kinesis product suite, so we recommend completing it.

See our guide on verifying a Business account.

Note: You can hold up to three unverified Business accounts at once. Once you reach that limit, verify at least one before opening another.

Can I link an existing Business account?

No. Business account opened in the past and already KYC-verified, cannot be linked to the Multi-account feature.

Can Business accounts earn yields?

Yes. You can yields on every account you hold, with no limits or extra charges.

All yields paid in Kinesis gold (KAU) and silver (KAG in the first week of the following month, based on your proportional share of the relevant fee pools.

Only KYC-verified accounts receive payments.

Referrer's Yield Across Multiple Accounts

Yes. Each of your accounts has its own unique referral link, so whichever link you share determines which profile receives your Referrer's Yield - giving you full control over where your yields are paid.

When a referee registers to Kinesis using your unique referral link, you become entitled to Referrer's Yield generated across every KYC-verified account they subsequently open through Multi-account, providing substantial earning potential.

Do I need separate email addresses?

Yes. Each of your multiple Kinesis accounts requires a separate email address. You'll still access and manage them all from your primary login.

Identity verification

Each email address belongs to one account only, so each needs verifying separately.

2FA authentication

Set up two-factor authentication (2FA) once and it will applie to all your Kinesis accounts.

Download Google Authenticator or a similar app, then scan the QR code in your account's 2FA settings.

Can I run multiple Kinesis Pay businesses?

Yes. Multi-account enables business owners to gain more control over their portfolio, through creating multiple, separate businesses and managing them more efficiently.

Set up a separate profile for each business and install the Kinesis Pay plugin on each merchant site individually.

You can then manage them independently, while accessing everything from one login.

Kinesis Pay connects merchants to the Kinesis payment rail built for gold (KAU) and silver (KAG), letting customers pay for goods and services directly in precious metals.
