In this video, Mike will show you how to link your minting account with the Kinesis platform.
Linking your accounts is an important step if you want to move funds between your Kinesis account and the Kinesis Mint, in order to purchase new Kinesis gold and silver-backed currencies, KAU and KAG.
Please note that the video below shows an earlier version of the Kinesis platform, and our team is working on updating it soon.
The Settings option has been relocated and can now be accessed by clicking your profile icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard. The process, however, remains the same.
How to link your Kinesis account to Kinesis Mint
In order to link your Mint account to your Kinesis account for a faster minting process, you must first select your Mint preference.
Step 1: Go to the Settings page on the Kinesis Mint platform by clicking this link.
You can also access the Kinesis Mint platform from within your Kinesis account, by opening up the Menu drop-down in the top right corner of your dashboard and clicking the Mint button.
Your Kinesis Mint account will open in a separate window and you'll be logged in automatically.
Keep your Kinesis account open in another window, you will need it in the next step.
On the Kinesis Mint, you can find Settings in the bottom left corner of the navigation bar.
Step 2: Go back to the Kinesis platform and access Settings, by clicking your profile icon in the top-right corner.
Step 3: Select Mint Account from available tab options. This will take you to a screen displaying your Kinesis account number, along with a field for entering your Kinesis Mint (HIN) number.
Step 4: Go back to the Settings tab in your Kinesis Mint account.
Here, you’ll find your Mint account details, including your HIN number. Copy this number and paste it into the Kinesis Mint (HIN) field within your Kinesis account settings, then press Confirm.
Step 5: Once you press Confirm, your linking request will be reviewed. You will receive an email notification once your accounts have been successfully linked.
Once you receive the email confirmation, you’ll be ready to start minting new Kinesis gold and silver right away!
