Sending and receiving assets

  • Updated

Gold, silver, stablecoins and digital assets can be bought and sold on the Kinesis Exchange or via the BUY/SELL widget on your Home dashboard - available on both the web platform and the Mobile App.

The Kinesis Mobile App is supported on both iOS and Android devices.

Watch the video guide below to see how sending and receiving works:

Note: Your account must be fully KYC-verified before you can buy or sell.

Kinesis gold (KAU) and silver (KAG), can also be bought through the Kinesis Mint.

SENDING Currencies:

To send funds, you'll need the recipient's receiving address - either their Kinesis account address or the address of their software or hardware wallet. Addresses are specific to each currency, so make sure you're using the right one.

Rather than typing an address manually, ask the recipient to send it electronically by email, SMS, or a web page. This removes the risk of a typo costing you your funds.

Mobile App users have a quicker option: scan a QR code of the recipient's address, either from their device or a webpage displaying it.

RECEIVING Currencies:

Cryptocurrencies can be deposited straight into your Kinesis account, ready to send, store, or trade on the Kinesis Exchange.

Note: Your KAU and KAG addresses are separate. Sending KAU to your KAG address - or KAG to your KAU address - means the funds won't be credited to your Virtual Balance. Your balance updates only when KAU arrives at your KAU deposit address, and KAG at your KAG deposit address.
