Move digital assets into the Kinesis platform from anywhere in the world.
Watch the video below to see how to send assets such as BTC, ETH, USDT or USDC into your Kinesis account.
Before depositing, you’ll need to verify your identity.
The video shows an earlier version of the Kinesis platform and is being updated. The process itself is unchanged.
Send digital assets
BTC is used here as an example. The same process applies to any digital asset supported on the Kinesis platform.
Step 1: Open Assets in the left-hand navigation panel.
Step 2: Select your chosen asset icon (we use BTC in this example), then choose Receive from the BTC Options drop-down.
Alternatively, you can reach Receive from the ⠿ Menu in the top-right corner, then select your asset in the pop-up window.
Step 3: Your Kinesis Bitcoin wallet details appear in the Receive pop-up, ready to copy.
Use this address to send BTC from your external wallet or exchange.
Step 4: When sending assets from you wallet or another exchange, make sure you select the correct Network and include the Memo or Destination tag wherever one is provided. Missing or incorrect details will result in lost funds*.
Once the transaction completes, your asset will appear in your account and you’ll receive a confirmation email. The deposit will also show in your recent transactions.
*Note on supported networks:
USDT can be deposited on the Ethereum (ERC-20) orTRON (TRC-20) network only.
USDC can be deposited on Ethereum (ERC-20) or Stellar.
Depositing ERC-20 tokens through any other blockchain (Polygon, Solana or Binance Chain, for instance) leaves those assets unavailable to send or trade on the Kinesis platform, with a 5 KAU fee to recover them. See our Asset Recovery Policy for full details.
Examples:
USDT deposited via Ethereum
USDT deposited via Polygon
USDC deposited via Stellar
