Deposit your local currency into the Kinesis platform by bank transfer, from anywhere in the world.

Before depositing, you’ll need to verify your identity.

Kinesis accepts deposits in multiple local currencies from anywhere in the world.
Deposited directly: US Dollar ($), British Pound (£), Euro (€), Australian Dollar (A$), Canadian Dollar (C$), Swiss Franc (CHF) and Singaporean Dollar (S$)
Automatically converted to USD on arrival, at the prevailing interbank rate: Chinese Yuan Renminbi (¥), Hong Kong Dollar (HK$), Indonesian Rupiah (Rp), Japanese Yen(JP¥), New Zealand Dollar (NZ$), Nigerian Naira (₦), Zambian Kwacha (ZMW) and South African Rand (ZAR)

Deposit cash
Step 1: Click the drop-down menu in the top-right corner of your Kinesis account and select Deposits.
Step 2: Select the currency you want to deposit (we use USD in this example). You will see a list of bank deposit options from various countries. Pick whichever works best for you.
Step 3: The deposit screen shows the Kinesis bank details for your transfer.
Send the funds from your bank to the Kinesis bank account shown, and add the payment reference to the description field. This is how we match your deposit to your account.
Make sure to add the Payment Reference shown in the transfer description field.
Your Kinesis Payment Reference (KM followed by numbers, e.g. KM12345678) - tells the Kinesis team which account to credit. Without it, we can’t process your deposit.
Deposits take 3–5 working days to clear. Once our operations team confirms receipt, your Kinesis account is credited and you’ll receive a confirmation email.
Register your bank details
To streamline future deposits, register your external bank details in your Kinesis account.
Step 1: Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner to open the drop-down menu, then choose Settings.
Step 2: From the list of available tabs, select Bank Details.
You can register or update your details at any time by clicking Edit.
Use your deposited funds
Fiat currencies can be held in your portfolio as holdings, but can’t be traded, sent, or spent by card directly.
