What are the supported networks on the Kinesis platform

  • Updated

In this video, Mike runs through the blockchain networks supported by the Kinesis Monetary System.

Before transferring assets from another exchange or external wallet, double-check they're on a supported, matching network to avoid transaction issues.

Note that the video below shows an earlier version of the Kinesis platform, and our team is working on updating it soon. The platform features, however, remain the same.

Although each cryptocurrency on the Kinesis platform runs on its own blockchain network, Kinesis currently only supports deposits via the Ethereum (ERC-20) network — for tokens such as ETH, USDT, and USDC.

Other networks that support ERC-20 tokens (e.g. BNB Smart Chain, Polygon) are not currently supported on Kinesis, and depositing via these networks will result in costly fees.

To avoid additional charges, please only use the Ethereum network when depositing cryptocurrency to Kinesis.

Will I get charged extra for depositing ERC-20 tokens from blockchains other than Ethereum?

Depositing ERC-20 tokens from other blockchains, such as Solana, Polygon and Binance Chain, will result in the loss of your assets.

Additionally, to retrieve the funds, the user will incur a 5 KAU fee.

To avoid additional fees and ensure a successful deposit, please only use the Ethereum blockchain when depositing ERC-20 assets to the Kinesis platform.
