What is Click to Pay?
Click to Pay (C2P) is a Visa-powered checkout feature built into your Kinesis card. It's a globally recognised, secure standard supported by all major card networks.
When you shop at a participating online store, Click to Pay lets you pay without typing in your card number, expiry date, or billing address every time. Your card details are kept securely by Visa and used behind the scenes at checkout - and importantly, your actual card number is never passed to the merchant. Instead, a secure digital code handles the payment, keeping your real card details private.
How Click to Pay works at checkout
- When you're ready to pay online, enter the email address or mobile number linked to your Kinesis account at checkout - Click to Pay will recognise it and display your Kinesis card automatically.
- Confirm it's you - either with a one-time passcode sent to your phone or email, or via biometric payment passkey using your device's fingerprint or face ID.
- Select your Kinesis card.
- Authorise the payment and you're done - no card number entry needed.
What is a payment passkey?
A passkey uses your device's fingerprint or face ID to verify your identity and confirm a payment at checkout. It's the same biometric unlock you already use to unlock your phone, just applied to payments.
When you check out with Click to Pay, you can use it to confirm the payment instantly instead of waiting for a one-time passcode. It gets set up automatically the first time you use Click to Pay, so there's nothing extra to do.

How to disable & re-enable C2P
Your Kinesis Virtual Visa Card comes with Click to Pay already enabled - it's ready to use straight away once you receive your card, with no setup needed.
You can disable Click to Pay at any time through the Kinesis platform.
Note: the Click to Pay toggle will be available in your account settings shortly.
In the meantime, if you'd like to opt out, simply navigate to the Card page on the Kinesis platform and tick the Click to Pay checkbox when prompted.
How to disable Click to Pay via the Kinesis platform
- Log in to your Kinesis account at kms.kinesis.money/login
- Open the drop-down Menu in the right corner and navigate to Settings
- Select the Card tab - Security section.
- Locate the Click to Pay toggle and switch it off.
Once disabled, Click to Pay will no longer be available as a checkout option for your Kinesis Virtual Visa Card. Past transactions are not affected.
How to re-enable Click to Pay
If you later decide to re-enable Click to Pay, return to the same Card tab - Security section within the Settings page, and switch the toggle back on.
Once you disable Click to Pay, it will no longer appear as a checkout option when you shop online. All other features of your Kinesis Visa card remain completely unaffected.
If you already use Click to Pay
If you already have a Click to Pay profile linked to your email address or mobile number (for example through a retailer's checkout or Visa's website), your Kinesis Virtual Card will be added to that profile as part of this transition. You do not need to do anything.

Data usage and your privacy
To activate Click to Pay on your Kinesis card, Kinesis, together with our card issuing partner, shares the following personal data with Visa: your name, email address, mobile number, card number, expiry date and billing address to enrol your card and ensure the service works correctly at checkout.
Visa uses this information to operate Click to Pay, including address verification and transaction risk checks at checkout. It is not used for marketing.
How the data is controlled
Kinesis collects and manages your details, notifies Visa when we are notified of any changes, and is your point of contact for any data requests. Visa stores and uses your data to run the Click to Pay service securely at checkout.
International data transfers
Visa processes Click to Pay data in the United States. Visa uses appropriate safeguards to ensure your personal data is adequately protected when transferred internationally, in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
How long your data is kept
Your data is retained for as long as necessary to provide the service, and for any additional period required or permitted by law. If you'd like to access, update or delete your Click to Pay data, just contact our support team.
