Currency One Yields reward holders with monthly payouts on their Currency One balance held in their verified Kinesis account. Simply holding any amount of any Currency One stablecoins in your verified Kinesis account automatically earns you Currency One Yield - no extra steps required.
Your C1USD Yield is calculated daily and credited monthly, directly to your Kinesis account. For all other 1:1 fiat-pegged C1 stablecoins, yields will accrue from launch and be paid retroactively once their respective yields are brought online.

Where do the Currency One yields come from?
The variable Currency One Yields are funded by the Issuer, Kinesis Money Panama SA, which derives ROI on capital through portfolio strategies that combine traditional finance (TradFi) and Decentralised Finance (DeFi).
Kinesis users holding C1USD in a verified Kinesis account will automatically receive a yield, paid in C1USD, at the end of each month. For all other 1:1 fiat-pegged C1 stablecoins, yields will accrue from launch and be paid retroactively once their respective yields are brought online.
At launch, the variable yield is set at 7.5% APY*, with a quarterly rate review of the rate conducted each quarter.
Am I eligible for the C1USD Yield?
To qualify for Currency One Yields, you simply must hold any amount of Currency One stablecoins in your verified Kinesis account.
Your Kinesis account must be fully KYC verified and active (not suspended or blacklisted) at the time of payout.
What is APY & Nominal Rate?
The nominal rate is the base percentage used to calculate your daily yield. It is applied to your end-of-day balance, divided across the number of days in the year. This figure is used to work out how much yield you earn each day.
The APY (Annual Percentage Yield) shows the expected total yearly return on your Currency One stablecoins. It reflects how your daily accruals add up over the course of a year.
Currency One Yields offer a variable yield set at 7.5% APY*, with the rate reviewed quarterly.
In short, the nominal rate is used for the daily calculation, while the APY gives you the bigger picture of what you can earn over a full year.
The Currency One Yields represent a unique feature in the stablecoin market, offering a yield on a 1:1 fiat-pegged stablecoin.
When & where is Currency One Yield paid?
Your C1USD Yield is paid in the first week of each following month, credited directly to your Kinesis account. The payment covers all the yield you earned during the previous month.
For example, in the first week of November you will receive yield for the entire month of October.
You can view your monthly C1USD Yield payouts in your Kinesis account transaction history, alongside all other transactions. You will also receive an email notification confirming the payment.
For all other 1:1 fiat-pegged C1 stablecoins, yields will accrue from launch and be paid retroactively once their respective yields are brought online.
